YSL Mon Paris Review
I first smelt this perfume when I was window shopping and admiring all the luxuries I could not afford. This beauty caught my eye because A: The bottle is beautiful, pink and classy. B: It was a YSL fragrance and my heart skips a beat when I see a new YSL fragrance after my not so secret obsession with Black Opium which you can read about here and here. Anyway, long story short. I sprayed a tester on myself and went my dilly dally way. Only to get home like 6 hours later and still be able to smell it. Damn, I woke up the next day and I could still smell the fragrance in my hair. Seriously, what is this magic? That was all it took. I purchased this scent the next chance I got.
The YSL Mon Paris fragrance retails for $145 (50ml) and a little bit goes a loooooong way. One-two sprays are all you need for a fragrance that will last all, day, long. I know some people will cringe at the price but it is the general price of all my fragrances and like I said, a little goes a long way.
I am terrible at describing fragrance notes but I will say this is amazing. If you are a fan of Lancome La Vie Est Belle, Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb or YSL Floral shock, I think this fragrance will appeal to you. It is a sweeter fragrance and I think is has berry notes, musk and patchouli (won’t lie, had to google those last two notes). This fragrance is supposed to embody the essence of Paris and if Paris is anything like this fragrance, then I need to visit asap.
