Manuka Doctor ApiClear Purifying Facial Scrub Review
The Manuka Doctor ApiClear Purifying Facial Scrub is a gorgeous scrub, made here in NZ (hence why I am featuring it on the NZ Brand spotlight Sunday Series… which is a long sentence to write so I’m sure it’s hard enough to read. My apologies. I’ll work on cutting that down). Coming in a 100ml tube, this scrub definitely gives you alot of bang for your buck since a small amount of product goes a long way.
This scrub is said to leave skin feeling smooth, nourished, soft and luminous. I do not use products that have microbeads in them and if you are like me, then you will love this product which uses bamboo stem extract as it’s exfoliant agent which sounds amazing and trust me, it feels amazing on the skin as well. This scrub is also meant to remove impurities and brighten up the skin. Sound good right?
The reasons why I am enjoying this product are simple
- I love the consistency of this product. It is a gel formula and so it is easy to use in the shower without the fear of the product slipping off your fingers and sliding down the plughole. No one likes money (or product) going down the drain for no darn reason.
- It’s gentle but it gets the job done. The bamboo exfoliant feels so good when I massage it over my skin and it doesn’t feel rough at all. After getting out of the shower, my skin feel lovely and it is not dry or tight (like some other face scrubs leave it)
- I love how it makes my skin look. I won’t say this product gives me the JLo glow, but it does brighten up my skin which is something I have been needing lately since my skin has been looking dull and drab. I blame my timtam obsession.
- It gender mutual. This is a product I have in my ensuite and my partner and I both enjoy using it. Trust me, this is a good thing because it means I can easily repurchase without having to justify another beauty parcel arriving.
Annndd.. I’m done. Have you seen this product around or is it something you would like to try? Let me know in the comments below.
