The Charlotte Tilbury Instant Magic Facial DRY Sheet Face Mask review was something the was inevitable once I saw this product. A high-end sheet mask.. which is dry? Come again. It didn’t quite make sense to me, but I had to try it out and see if it was worth the money (because it is not cheap).
Charlotte Tilbury Instant Magic Facial DRY Sheet Face Mask review
I like Charlotte Tilbury products. Honestly, she makes products with gorgeous packaging and gorgeous formulas. However, the big con when it comes to her products is the price tag. I have tried a few products from her range but I think this is the first time I have actually featured a product on my blog. Enough back story, let’s get into the Charlotte Tilbury Instant Magic Facial DRY Sheet Face Mask review
The Charlotte Tilbury Instant Magic Facial DRY Sheet Face Mask retails for $32 NZD for one sheet mask, or you can buy a pack to get a better deal. When I bought this, I was cringed a little bit. My Korean sheet masks are pretty amazing and they cost $2-$4 so this is definitely a ‘WTF’ item as Tati would say. I have since learnt that each sheet mask can be reused 3 times which makes the price a little bit easier to bear.
So what makes this mask so amazing? The Charlotte Tilbury Instant Magic Facial DRY Sheet Face Mask is a Dry sheet mask which features ingredients such as Vitamin B3, plant stem cells and crocus bulb extract which are meant to smooth, brighten, hydrate and lift your skin. All this is supposed to happen in 15minutes. Okay, the pressure is on. Does this mask use its active ingredients and inbuilit skin reader (that’s dumbed down lingo but they call in “n in-built 5 SKIN SOLUTION IQ”) to treat your skin issues?
So, is this a gimmick or is it actually an amazing product? So, I loved using this mask, even though it looks scary as shit. I use this on a clean face, put it on and kind of massage the material over my skin because I have heard that it how to activate the goodness within. I leave it for 15 minutes and take it off. When I take it off, I can see the product on my face which is the most bizarre thing since the sheet mask still feels dry. Anyway, this leaves a type of serum/oil residue on the skin which I just pat in and leave on because there is no way in hell I am washing any of this product down the drain. It will literally be like throwing away money. This mask has no smell and it worked really well with my sensitive skin.
It was a different experience using this mask. It’s weird to have a dry mask on your face and the texture is something you might have to get used to. I have to say, I love how clean and easy this is to use. No mess which is something I get with other sheet masks that I use. Honestly, I am yet to amazing results from this mask. It does leave my skin looking glowy and feeling hydrated and plump, but so do my other sheet masks. I will use this mask another two times and see if there any noticeable changes and I will get back to you but so far, although I enjoy using it, it is not worth the insanely high price tag.
What are your thoughts on this new dry sheet mask?
