I feel a little guilty admiting this but Weleda products were never on my wishlist. This was the brand my parents loved, and I always thought if my parents loved this brand, there was no way it was cool or something I would love. When I was asked to review the Weleda Arnica Sports Shower gel*, I realised that sometimes your parents really do know best.
Do you need makeup storage inspiration? Me too. I love buying makeup and I buy more than I could ever use (I know I have problems). I spend a lot on makeup and I’m not overly organised so I have kept my makeup in boxes and hidey holes hidden from the world (and my boyfriend who thinks I have a sh*t tonne of it). It’s time I got organised and put my makeup on display so my boyfriend (haha) and I can appreciate it’s beauty. Thankfully for me, the babes in the beauty world have some amazing makeup storage ideas and so today’s post is all about makeup storage inspiration.
I have a secret obsession, I love candles. There is something so nice about lighting a candle, it changes the whole entire atmosphere of a room by giving it mood lighting (oh la la) and making it smell good as well. Today, I’m introducing you to a new candle from Maraca which is the Generalife Gardens Scented Candle.
I love having pretty nails, but I don’t believe you need to go to the salon to get you nails on fleek and so it is about time I showed you How to do the Perfect Manicure. I love doing my nails and it has occurred to me that I have never really talked about my nail obsession, or even shared nail inspiration, photos, or posts so I am starting a new thread for my blog called Manicure Monday, woo!! Hope you are as excited as I am.
I love makeup and I love using all my products to make my face look flawless… but truth be told, some nights I just can’t be bothered spending 20 minutes in the bathroom, going through my skincare routine to remove every last trace of makeup. Yes, I admit it. I can be lazy on a Wednesday night when I just want to crawl into bed and not remove the layers of makeup I have on every surface of my face and so the Clinique Take the Day Off Micellar Cleansing Towelettes* are the perfect, lazy girl solution on those days when I just can’t be bothered.
I love Oasis Beauty, and I have loved the brand ever since I first started paying attention to my skin and my skincare routine. Plus, it’s made here in NZ which makes it even more awesome. When I was offered the Oasis Light Milk Cleanser* ($34.90) to review, I was phyched. I absolutely adore Oasis products and I was looking for a new cleanser so it was perfect timing.
My secret is out, I love high end products and one of my favourite high brands is YSL. They have the makeup game on lock down with amazing packaging, beautiful formulas, stunning ad campaigns and yes.. I even adore the smell of their products. Turns out, YSL also has a knack for creating unique product such as their new ‘Le Blush Encre De Peau’ Fusion Ink Blush ($65). and here is the YSL Fusion Ink Blush review.
I am soft core obsessed with iherb.com. It’s the perfect place to buy some household supplies that you can’t get in New Zealand as well as sneaking in a few beauty goodies too. This haul actually turned into more of a beauty haul than anything else (which is what normally happens) and I have to say.. this may be my best Iherb beauty haul yet.
Last month, Beauty Review had their quarterly beauty vault sale. I love Beauty Review and their vault sale is awesome because you get to shop for free using online points that you accumulate by being an active member in their site (and you only pay for shipping) so awesome!
The Clarasonic Mia 2 is something that could almost be considered a cult classic in the beauty world because everyone seems to have one of these and everyone seems to love them too. Truth be told, most of the big beauty gurus seem to have flawless skin anyway so I needed to try out the Clarasonic Mia 2 on my temperamental skin to see if it really lived up to the hype. So here is the Clarasonic Mia 2 review.
